More seriously, doesn’t this make it obvious that the structure of authoritarianism is really just a small collection of powerful people? They’re not an unstoppable force. They’re weaker than they look.
I looked bulldog immunity up on ddg and urban dictionary and found nothing. Maybe deters’ bulldogs will no longer consider those people unthreatening?
But there’s a huge difference in how intimidating bulldogs are and my default mental “bulldog” is a French bulldog or [inaccurately, but I definitely still picture it] Boston terrier, so I’d be more worried about them if I had a piece of cheese on me.
Who would want to pay $1000 to be close enough to Kid Rock to smell the cigarette smoke and beer sweat?

The last one was the Rock the Country tour that had his major SC event cancelled but continues to go on, though ticket sales are pretty weak apparently with them now offering tickets at half price and here’s the list of bands you can make fun/boycott for continuing being horrible human beings, and yes Nickelback is on there.
Always disappointing to be reminded that the husk of Lynyrd Skynyrd is still out there making a mockery of their legacy. There’s a good chance the original band, releasing their music today, would be labeled as woke. What with the anti-drug, anti-gun, and anti-racism themes.

When it comes to music, that’s not even just a MAGA problem. There’s a lot of artists lately that have been cancelling tours when they booked stadiums, not realizing that clicks don’t necessarily mean ticket sales.
I mean, shitty tickets are like $300 a piece now. I have more disposable income than the average person in my demographic and I’m not paying that much for 2 hours of entertainment.
That depends entirely on who you’re seeing and where. I was just at a show where tickets were around $50.
Sure, but the kinds of bands selling tickets for $50 don’t get articles like this written about them. They get a passing mention in some kind of local media.

I saw ben folds five for $20. you just have to know where to look.
In 2006 I saw Dropkick Murphy, The Tossers, The Horror Pops, and a couple of other bands for like $35. That was a good deal.

Personally I’m still doing a livenation/ticketmaster boycott, which pretty much means a concert boycott since I don’t really look around for non-livenation concerts.
Though it would be nice to see the economic squeeze hurt their monopoly, like if they can’t reduce their prices to meet demand because they’ve overextended on credit and end up forced to sell some venues. Would be even better to see those venues then get sold out for non-livenation shows to add insult to injury.
Doesn’t help when an entire show gets bought by scalpers or just has absurd prices from the start. A couple decades back I would go to big festival style shows for less than $100, now it costs $300 for a balcony seat behind a pole.
