Representative Thomas Massie, who pushed for the original Epstein Files Transparency Act, has a new bill he’s going to force through the House.

“When we return next week, we’ll get 218 signatures for Epstein Files Transparency Act II, which guarantees a vote,” Massie wrote Thursday on X. “Survivors will be able to get their own records, State Attorneys General can prosecute crimes, and we can take the DOJ to court for keeping critical files hidden.”

Massie, who has made an enemy of Trump by opposing the Iran war and pushing for the full release of the Epstein files, first passed the Epstein Transparency Act in November 2025. And though President Trump signed it into law, Massie, Democrats, and a few Republicans argue that his administration didn’t fully abide with what the act required.

“The Department of Justice has flagrantly and consistently ignored EFTA’s disclosure requirements,” Massie wrote earlier this summer in his announcement of the Epstein Files Transparency Act II, co-sponsored by Democratic Senators Ben Ray Luján and Jeff Merkley, and Democratic Representatives Ro Khanna and Teresa Leger Fernández.

Mark my comment. Ten years from now the slew of corruption in Trump’s admin will all come to light. The corruption that’s already been revealed is just the tip of the iceberg.

When Trump is dead so everyone can say they never supported him. I’m making it my personal goal in life to save the receipts and remind everyone who these motherfuckers are. Most of Trump’s cabinet better be in jail well before the 10 year mark. I’m sorry for posting a YT video but this really is a great take on why we need to pursue prosecutions and not just “move on”

Oh yeah, I’m on the edge of my seat.

We all know that you could do it on Monday, you could do it this month, you could do it before the holidays.

But you won’t… it’s been TWENTY YEARS. You are revolting.

Always remember, any rep with clearance is free to call a press conference and say what they’ve seen in the Epstein files. They can ignore subpoenas and the law just like Trump does. Besides, Trump won’t do anything, because he doesn’t want discovery in court.

It does kind of feel like they’re talking about releasing the files so they don’t have to release the files. It’s a weird way to distract, but I think it’s working.

Sounds like this expands access and will make the DOJ open to lawsuits for having ignored the previous law.

Weird to announce it in advance. Just fucking do it.

Also, if you’re serious, don’t get too close to any windows during the weekend.

This guy is definitely in the no fucks given stage when it comes to a common Republican arc. I mean, Republicans that still have a modicum of a kernel of some form of moral compass still left.

Massie would make a fun president.

    Not a good one.

    But a fun one.

In my new reality where everyone will be compared to Trump until the day I die, Massie will look like a championing hero. He’ll return Republican racial politics back to the “wink and nudge” era.

Congress has already passed a law that requires the release of the Epstein-Trump files. This will be ignored by the pedo GOP as well.

The correct answer is impeaching the entire cabinet, the Vice President & then Trump.

If the president can credibly disagree on his removal, then you still need 2/3 of Senate, and also 2/3 of the house.

Removing a president still capable of uttering the words “I should not be removed” is harder than convicting after impeachment.

Now if Trump does not object, the 25th is easier, but however screwed up he is, he is still quite capable of disagreeing in a way to trigger the 2/3 of Congress requirement.

Love this for all of them. They were on top of the world commiting crimes against humanity with impunity. Let’s see some repercussions.

I guess this is when those pardons are gonna get doled out again. :(

Hopefully Trump is so egotistical that he can’t imagine being successfully removed from office and doesn’t try to make pardons until it’s too late

So if Hegseth were pardoned, which is also an admittance of guilt, could that then be leveraged in international courts?

Is it possible that much of the incriminating evidence has already been removed by Trump and his appointees, or is this something that would be impossible? Meaning that there would be an actual record somewhere, even if it’s classified topsecret++.

Do it then. There has already been way too much talk, especially in the face of the file release statute they passed.
