Yeah I’m doing the klingon wail
Same.
This one is rough.
One of the first toys I remember having was a small model of the Enterprise D with little shuttles that you could land in the shuttle bay. One of my earliest memories is cuddling with my dad and watching TNG. While I’m not proud of it, I once threw a fit at the planetarium because we were going to miss TNG if we stayed. I saw every TNG movie in theaters with my dad.
This feels like a loss of a family member.
It’s the same for me. Star Trek has always been a family experience with my dad and my uncle. I watched Encounter at Farpoint with my dad in 1987. I was 5 years old.
I watched the whole series with him. We saw UDC and all the TNG movies together. The crew of the Enterprise D were in my house pretty often as I was growing up.
I definitely understand what you mean when you say it feels like losing a family member. I feel the same way.
Live long and prosper, friend. 🖖
I wish I could have had that with my Dad, or even my son. In my family, and even among my friends and acquaintances, I’m the only one who cares about Star Trek at all.

But… But I’ve already seen everything
🖖Fair winds and following seas, Sir Stewart.
A great actor, and a decent human. Rest peacefully Captain. You’ve earned it.
