Deadwood. Great show. Definitely belongs on the list. Cancelled too early. I heard rumors about a movie that would work as the final episode as something.
Some really well portrayed characters, some really poorly portrayed characters, and the writing after the first season and a half was plywood. Not paper thin, but pretty weak.
Season 3 was full of setups and plot points that were supposed to be resolved in a season 4 that never came. The movie tried to close those holes, but the movie isn’t bingeable like the show is.
Typical NYT list, lots of filler series. But where the fuck is 24?
