The devil is in the details?

This isn’t really accurate. I agree with your sentiment on some level… But the swastika has existed for thousands of years in many different forms in many different cultures. It was co opted for sure, but not really changed. I agree that it is predominantly used as a hate symbol in modern culture, but it’s not quite as simple as you are putting it here, imho. Ancient Buddhist or Hindu temples shouldn’t be torn down because of a madman that stole a symbol nonsensically that had nothing to do with Aryan superiority. Might be nice if someday it could be rehabbed but certainly today, in America especially it is generally used as only meaning one thing. Not trying to be pedantic, it’s just not quite as cut and dry as you’re representing.

Don’t watch it passively then!

Go backwards and find the classics that speak to you then. For me good art is usually a little subversive, although there is nothing wrong with pure entertainment of course.

I’m guessing you’re a good bit younger than me, but this is encouraging to hear. Find your favorite genres, watch what inspired them and you have so much amazing artwork and storytelling to explore.
For everyone that grew up with 10 marvel movies a year its not surprising that modern films don’t speak to them.
Challenge yourself and you’ll find your own rewards. I love video games and watching youtube too, but it’s not the same thing as turning off the lights and watching something like Apocalypse Now, Chinatown or a Kubrick movie without distractions.
Good luck on your cinematic journey!

It doesn’t exist, how is that hard to admit for you? Freedom of speech is intended to protect exactly the kind of speech you disagree with, otherwise it’s not a thing. “Largely free” = NOT FREE

You mean freedom of speech… That’s what you’re saying is not an important value? The freedom to speak truth to power without the goon squad kicking down your door? Clearly that is being eroded in the US right now, but China certainly doesn’t have it.

My comrade in veganism: this is not the way. Kindness is the only way your message will be heard. If Daryl Davis (a black man) can convince hundreds of KKK members to leave the organization by befriending them and forging relationships, sometimes over years, then you can tone it down and be kind to someone who doesn’t share your views and wants to eat a cheeseburger. Doesnt make them “right”, but your approach just makes you insufferable in the eyes of people you don’t agree with, which is almost everyone. Trust me, I’ve been doing it for decades and you are not setting a good example for the chill vegans out there. Calm down, love people regardless of their differences, there is enough division in the world. Do not turn your ethics into religious fundamentalism. You can control your behavior and you can be a good ambassador. In short: don’t be a smug asshole that thinks they are superior for any reason.
The answer is here, but you just can’t fight physics. Light needs to come through a lens and hit a sensor. There has to be some significant distance, in relation to the thickness of the phone for this to work. Until camera technology advances and somehow produces a comparatively sharp image, we will be stuck with the bump. It’ll happen at some point I’m sure, but there is a whole bunch of tech that will need to change to get there.

Today’s empires… tomorrow’s ashes…

No way, this stuff is excellent. Hard to believe yours is a good faith take when Trump & co spew the most vile commentary that is completely fact free day after day. This is sarcastic, but it’s not really an exaggeration. They could go harder, this is still quite professional, I love to see it. Finally the Dems are in the rhetoric race.

Yes. Fearmonger more. You keep up that driving! The rest of us will take advantage of more spare time to read while we cruise smoothly by the cars sitting in traffic. Truly a nightmare.
It wasn’t milk

Same rules for communists then?

You know nothing, are not American, and you comment all the time on American politics? Why are you here again?

Shills gotta do the job they’re paid for, after all …

Slippery slope on that one. Do all Nazis deserve punched in the face (and worse)? Yes! Let’s not criminalize thoughts or beliefs though, no matter how reprehensible they may be.
IDK where you were riding… 10 year cycle courier veteran from Boston here with my own anecdotal experience. This could very well be a personal health thing with you. Never had any issues related to the fumes in my throat, or heard of any related issues within the messenger community. If you told me over time that the fumes have a negative impact on healh I’d believe it, but I probably wouldn’t listen to a commuter who rode a tiny fraction of the urban cycling I’ve done personally. I’d be very interested to see a study on long term bike messengers.
So if I can shoot rabbits… Then I can shoot fascists?
