He’s decided he did great on that one. (Not a joke)
Nope, because he doesn’t care about stuff that doesn’t impact him personally. In the context of Covid, his biggest regret is probably that he got it, followed by the fact that it didn’t kill more Democrats in urban areas during the initial surge.
followed by the fact that it didn’t kill more Democrats in urban areas during the initial surge.
Viruses have a hard time killing people who believe in science and germ theory. COVID deniers on the other hand who are his biggest supporters are stupid and don’t wash their hands.
The CDC has certainly said that hand washing is the single most effective measure to prevent the spread of infectious disease. However SARS-CoV-2 is spread primarily by airborne infection. Masks are simple and effective at preventing the spread of airborne infectious disease.
The problem was, masks aren’t there to protect you, they’re there to protect everyone else from you. So the idiots who didnt want to mask up, ended up fucking everyone. The people who needed to wear them didn’t because they’re fucking idiots.
Dude, a conservative headcount for COVID deaths in the US is a million.
Since MAGA is a death cult it was a great success.
No, because he did everything wrong on purpose regarding his handling of COVID.
His greatest mistake was hiring people more loyal to the country than to him. That’s his take-away from the experience. And half the country is fine with that and wants him to get another shot at it.
Fuck.
Disloyal man is surprised he is surrounded by disloyal people.
That would be one of the central problems of fascism. People are hired based on loyalty first, and competence a distant second. On top of that, the fundamental worship of power in fascism means everyone is trying to be powerful, so nobody is all that loyal, anyway.
It will always fall apart because of this, but it can also kill everyone else in the process.
Sounds like the hallmark of a very shitty leader. Poor judge of character.
Unless… he’s just so repugnant that any rational human would end up betraying him because his idea and policies are poisonous to the soul.
Either way, shit-tier leader.
He’s right. The next time, he’ll only have people completely loyal and ready to do massive harm. He never believed he’d win the first time and was completely unprepared. If he wins again, his staff is planned well in advance and we’re fucked.
Well, yeah, that would be a problem in most cases. Why did he do that? Is he still doing that? Will he do it again if he is reelected? How would he know if they are loyal before hiring them?
He didn’t expect to win in 2016. He’s been gearing up for this one with a completely different outlook.
The Heritage Foundation has made the plan, selected the appointees, sealed the deal. He will barely have to make any personnel decisions. It’s fucking terrifying because it will work so well instead of the constant chaos of last time.
It’s self filtering. Anyone that’s watched the last 8 years of throwing each and every one of his cronies under the bus, but still jumps at the chance to be next will be loyal enough, at least until he can’t use them anymore.
How would he know if they are loyal before hiring them?
Torture until they break.
Kadavergehorsam then. Suits him I guess.
What does this term mean?
“Corpse-like obedience” - wikipedia has a nice page on it. It was used to describe the zeal of administrative officials in the nazi regime.
