Actually thats just folklore. Recently someone posted the actual stats, there is no discernible spike in app use. No server crashing under the load of all those closeted gays. Sorry to break that bubble
That’s fine. But not everyone is okay with it. I can’t stop people from making jokes, but I feel what I feel. I don’t like the association that asshole conservatives can be ridiculed by saying they are closeted gays. I was in the closet for a long time and I hate that it’s a joke now. Coming out was a big deal for me and joking about conservatives being in that position makes light of my struggles.

I just want to add that the reason people make fun of them for being gay is not that they are supposedly gay, but the fact that they are all wildly hypocritical, sanctimonious assholes who do decidedly never practice what they preach.
