    The delta-v required to move something from Earth’s orbit to the sun is pretty extreme. Whilst it’s a little less satisfying, may I suggest directly into the nearest active volcano as a more energetically managable solution? It has the advantahe of less engineering lead time too.

      Fortunately, Trump’s mass - relatively, to, say, any payload we shoot into space - is quite small. So that delta V is actually achievable with relatively small amounts of fuel.
