2·5 days agoAbout what part? Being able to send a bag of Dick’s to your friends or tuition health care, $26 an hour after training, sign on bonus etc? Sounds like I work for them. I don’t, but I want my kids to!
Dick’s. You can get a bag of dick’s from a decently compensated person.
9·6 days agoTaco Bell is my depression meter. Not a joke. 1x or less a month, I’m ok, 2x/month, prolly fine, just hungry. If I get to 1- 2x per week I tell my friends in hopes they can help me.
42·6 days agoI had to look it up because in my memory I had it over the top. It is. 95% African ancestry, 5% mixed.
They’re finally catching up with my local burger chain that offers health insurance, tuition, etc. Also in the US.
There are 3 nearby, including one at a super crowded park. I think one is getting torn out though.

2·11 days agoSo many laws would have to change, and the FDA would need about 1,000x the people and money. I’m all for it, but it’s an unsolvable problem. If it is something taken orally, including food, it can basically only ever be a reactive response to people dying.

3·14 days agoDo different science. I felt like that for so long working on potentially unsolvable problems. Now I work on very difficult, but solvable problems that save lives.
Someone close to me has struggled forever with ADHD. A heroic effort got her through med school. They are an ER doc. Their life outside the ER would not work at all without an amazing partner, but at work, it’s kind of perfect. Fix it, it goes away. Everything is different all the time. Fix shiny thing, send it home, find next shiny thing.
It is a very unique situation though.
Does that include good high fives, or am i missing something?
Just another anecdote, but I have 2 boys. I can’t tell if one has a micropenis and the other has a macropenis. One looks smaller than proportional, but not “micro?” One looks, well, otherwise. They are both huge kids otherwise… Maybe they are both near other sides of average, but I’m not spending time trying to figure that out.
