Everyone should save as much money as they can and probably not play the stock market. I have a feeling 401k’s are going to take a gigantic shit.
I have no idea what’s going to happen. I hope none of this happens. it’s just a very pessimistic gut feeling.

This brings up kind of an interesting thing. After Trump takes over, will he make it where cops aren’t required to have their body cams on anymore?
He probably wants to replace it with a Hitler Youth style of program.
I’m kind of surprised because Tesla and Trumpnis pro coal and gas. Is Elon eating his own face? Or is he willing to cannibalize Tesla because he has government contracts and Trump will probably hand him any government contract he wants?
Elections going forward will be for show, like elections in Russia. But Trump has said “we won’t need to vote again” so maybe he’ll just make himself president for like President Xi. This is extreme, but since the Rs will control every branch, could they ban the Democrat party, or it to break up, anything like that?
None of that stuff is going to happen, unfortunately, not while the Rs control everything. And it’s not official but it looks like they’re going to win the house too. So they’re going to run buckshot on this country with no one to stop them. They’ll control all 3 branches.
Not sure if this is legit but a coworker said 20 million Democrats didn’t vote. That’s depressing knowing if they had voted Dem, Kamala most likely would’ve won.
They’re still going to vote for him.
And his supporters will still vote him. Even Elon has been saying that if Trump wins, there will be a “temporary” financial crisis. The thing is, “temporary” can mean months or years depending on your scale. But we know financial crises don’t last for a week or two.
Plus, it could take a week for Arizona to count their votes.
Non Trump supporters are aware of this and already aren’t voting for him. It’s his supporters that will ignore this because they don’t care. They will vote for him regardless. Lots of them are voting against their own best interests.
Well he also wants to put anti vaxxer RFK Jr in a prominent role overseeing public health, so there’s that too. Though I thought the role of Secretary of Transportation would go to Elon.
I absolutely blame Jenny McCarthy for this, and maybe Oprah (I think Oprah gave her the platform to speak), but Jenny never came out and said “I was wrong about this and the doctor totally lied about his results and this has all been debunked” and now the US is in shambles because she’s a fucking idiot.
And they were all vaccinated and they’re fine. Though if they’re Trump supporters the argument can be made that vaccines made them stupid.
The problem is that swing voters focus on only one issue, and it’s the issue that impacts them the most. It might be just the genocide in Gaza and how the current administration is handling it. Or might be just healthcare. Or just women’s rights. Or the economy. They don’t seem to look at the big picture and can’t weigh their personal feelings against all the issues as a whole. They can’t say "I’ll take a hit on the economy if women’s rights and abortions are better for the people as a whole ". It’s often what impacts them most. From what I’ve read, the economy is the biggest issue and as long a they think they might be better off with Trump, they’ll vote for him, regardless of the impact to everyone else.
America has care for its citizens in a long time. It only cares about the rich and corporations.
This is what happens in some Republican controlled states when they limit the times and places and how people can vote. Trump said a few years ago that if minorities vote, Republicans will never win another election. So Republican controlled states started getting rid of polling stations and changing voting times to standard working hours, etc, knowing that people wouldn’t be able to take time off from work to stand in the now longer lines (due to fewer polling stations) or would want to stand in longer lines.
Plus, election day is not a national holiday like it is in most other countries, so people don’t get the day off to vote. Though some companies give 3 or 4 hours paid time off strictly for voting.
Man, wouldn’t be hilarious if Trump won and put RFK Jr in charge of public health and he just abolished all vaccines and everyone got sick and died because of all these ancient diseases were fucking us up again? Yeah.
You can’t hold someone accountable if they don’t think they did anything wrong. They firmly believe they’re in the right, and will never believe Trump can or will do anything wrong. Anything bad that comes out of his administration, they’ll just say it was Biden’s fault. Kinda like how some Republicans supporters thought Obama was president during 9/11.
