If you’ve ever actually been around horses, you would know that in the case of horses at least, you are in far more danger than them. I’ve nearly been crushed by mares in estrus or tackled and bit hard enough to draw blood and create massive bruises by randy young stallions. They are horny monsters and can kill you accidentally with ease.

Also, if you’ve been around real horses you should quickly lose whatever kinks or desires you think you have. They’re horrifying animals and they fart louder than lawnmower engines and tend to create pools of urine and feces that will make your eyes water and burn your lungs with the amount of ammonia they produce.

Cast iron is overrated.

Everything is.

I like cast-iron just because the nature of what you cook in it means you don’t have to scrub it in a sink after. Wipe it out with a cloth or some paper towels and back up in the cupboard. And doing this makes it better not worse. It’s convenience more than anything.
