Those devices were bought by Hesbollah, for their soldiers to use, and were connected to a network they operate.
From what I understand about the attack, even if one of these devices made it’s way into the hands of a doctor, it would have to be connected to the Hesbollah network to detonate.
We’ve never had a similar situation to compare to.
I’m from New Zealand, our police shoot people with knives occasionally. I’m not convinced this would have ended differently here, or any other country.
A knife is an incredibly dangerous weapon, and the alternative solutions being proposed here just aren’t realistic.
