My dad came to visit once. He’s a shoes off kind of guy. Pretty diligent about it too. Problem is, he just doesn’t like wearing them anywhere. Sure go stand in my half mud yard and smoke a cigar and then walk right back into my kitchen.
We decided to show him around the area. Drive out to the coast. Leaving the car, “Dad you might want your shoes.” Get to the beach, as we’re strong into the sand, he stops, “I think I should put my shoes on.”
I fucking died.
All this to say, if you’re shoes off, make sure everyone is shoes on outside.
That last line, I’m going to leave it, but it doesn’t make sense.

I was thinking his imdb profile could use a refresh.
Did we get any pictures of him with Weinstein on the island?

That is only the 2nd expression I’ve ever seen her make. The other is just indifference with a touch of sadness Like the tip of an acupuncture sadness, because psychopaths don’t really feel much.
So being the second expression, it must be a smile.

But I’m also soft and weak.
I want to believe that they are, but they don’t have to worry about working long hours sitting on their asses. They get to make millions while paying a personal trainer and traveling the world.
I sit on my ass and eat. At this point I think my 7 year old could best me in fisticuffs.

When you spend that much time with your nose up his ass in the first place, this is just another day.
The way the staff reacted, this was rehearsed or at least a very well planned for event.
I guarantee every staff member near the oval has a memo that discussed protocol for a code brown event.

Try the gray stuff! It’s delicious!

Seems this might be the reference.
The New Yorker story also implicated multi-billion dollar philanthropist Bill Gates. The emails between Ito and Epstein showed that Gates was “directed by Epstein” to donate $2 million to the research lab in October 2014, six years after Epstein was found guilty of soliciting prostitution from a minor.

Of age and consenting does not equal willingness or a lack of explorationexploitation. There was a victim who has done some interviews, she was of age, and one could argue she did consent. But she was heavily pressured. She found herself being brought to the island by a girl she was on a modeling shoot with. I can’t remember all of the details but essentially she was made to feel like participation was expected and everyone just did it. Eventually this led to a relationship where she was trafficked to other men.
Hearing her speak, she sounded like she felt obligated. And when she didn’t return calls or other communications, they would escalate to harassment levels of contact.
The women who were of age were still kids. I think about where I was at 25, I didn’t know shit. An 18 y/o newly on her own, in a place she’s never been, without close friends or family, could easily be exploited.
We used to play daughter, hooker, wife.

The reporting from Maddow is that an amendment to the DHS funding bill that was passed out of committee was removed at the request of the Whitehouse. This amendment included language to prevent ICE from detaining and deporting citizens which is already illegal.
What I cannot find (with some very lose and quick research) is the actual text of the amendment. Nothing was included in the bill that would make it legal for them to detain and deport a US citizen. ICE’s authority to arrest and detain under 8 U.S.C. § 1226 and § 1231 applies only to “aliens.” Once an individual is confirmed to be a U.S. citizen, ICE loses its legal basis for custody.
IMO it seems like an empty gesture without any sort of enforcement (remember I did not find the text of the removed amendment). We are already dealing with a militia that is operating outside the rule of law.
Actually slowing this down or putting up a road block would require laws that actually address the detainment of US citizens, as the current laws only seem to address the authority of ICE in dealing with alien residents. The would also need to be an independent watchdog and actual codified consequences for detaining US citizens in these dragnet operations.

Sharp Guillotine (they/them) and their running mate Three-in-one Oil

That is the dumbest shit. We’ve come to the point where critical speech is now considered violent and threatening by the TT (Trump Troops). It’s bad enough when “trained” law enforcement is incapable of regulating a response, these muppets reach for a gun when they can’t get a liter of cola from the kid working at Jack in the box.

My university had an entire /8 block and no real centralized IT. A number of departments ran NAT internally but the default was that every computer was assigned a public IP. This included connecting a laptop to the network in the library or in a dorm room. At some point they did require associating your MAC with a student or staff ID in order to acquire an IP.
There was also a pretty robust collection of drives shared on the network. Some were intentional and slightly nefarious, some were accidental and the people didn’t even realize they were sharing.
This was over 25 years ago.

Wait till they find out how the elite and powerful view them (and pretty much all of us).
Thanks, now that’s in my search history

At the very least to keep the status quo and mitigate irreversible harm. This seems like an order to push forward the agenda of their god king and barrel through with the harm.
And now we have Democrats talking about bills to reopen with a vote in ACA in December. I doubt SNAP will even come back to fill strength if the government opens back up

Just start leaving hot dogs and Italian beefs laying around.
Sounds like Florida
