Since you are so knowledgeable about China and North Korea could you explain the structure of their government?
For anyone curious here are two short articles outlining the political structure:
The Chinese people trust their government and are able to directly shape it’s policy and directly elect their representatives
China does have elections, and for genuine representation, no lobbying or canvassing is allowed.
Following the precepts of democratic elections, “In accordance with the principles of universal suffrage, equal rights, multiple candidates, and secret ballot”, deputies to people’s congresses at the township and county levels are elected by the Chinese people.
These representatives, the deputies closest to the public, make up 94% of the national total, and are entrusted with electing the higher-level representatives. The deputies to people’s congresses at the level of townships and counties elect deputies to people’s congresses of cities; they, in turn, elect deputies at the provincial level, who elect deputies at the national level.
From these grassroots onward, in China, it is meritocracy all the way. Decades of practical experience, usually with increasingly large populations, ensures progressively greater competence, as candidates get the top jobs that require such capacity.
Communist Party of China […] in 2020, when the draft of its 14th Five-Year Plan (from 2021 to 2025) was submitted to public consultation online for the first time. The general public was able to participate in planning its own social and economic development, making more than a million suggestions from August 16 to 29, 2020, from which over 1,000 opinions and suggestions were incorporated.
what political theorist created this? or is it just a random meme sourced from a dream?
yes, you and the two others have proven that if anyone “brigades” it is dronies
how do you not feel shame for your rampant consumption and utter lack of critical thinking?
while you cry to each other about the other China has built more renewable energy than the west combined
no need to display your homophobia and i will stay right here. it took me minutes to easily disprove the “any criticism of China = ban” I’m sure anyone who as any intellectual curiosity will see that you are hypocritical swine that wallow in your treats to distract from your exploitation.
why are you so afraid of hexbear?
You are a disingenuous liar.
Go to the hexbear news megathread and you will find criticism of China:
There are many Chinese hexbear users that discuss the flaws of their country, people that are banned are those that spread misinformation.
Of course the United States = bad there is no modern equivalent to the outsourcing of death, despair, and destruction the great satan exports.
lemmy.world “preemptively defederated as a last resort” you can find their reasoning here: https://lemmy.world/post/2498330 sounds like lemmy.world wants an echo-chamber yet despite whinging about “brigades” there has never been any actual proof that brigades are organized.
hexbear defederated FROM sh.itjust.works, lemmy.ca, lemmy.blahaj.zone, programming.dev, lemmy.nz, aussie.zone because those instances were NOT moderating to the standard that hexbear places on cultivating a space for marginilzied people.
Who are you to judge the mental stability of people when you constantly project your insecurities on to those seeking a better future.
please stop posting you constantly embarrass yourself
trump utilized a prior relationship to get a cease fire which harms palestinian people less than funding arms shipments like biden
you scream about how united states must vote because trump will be worse for palestine but the truth is his actions have shown that liberal parties will never reduce harm they will encourage it for profit
no drag should be banned for misgendering and encouraging suicide
not surprised given that you are enbyphobic
how is the stateless society coming?
maybe we could vote it in!
drag what does that have to do with the discussion?
comrade is amazed you are not site-banned from blahaj
im surprised ada has not realized you are PMMEFATENBIES / grail / dronerights yet
wrong it was trump calling bibi that got the deal
biden was seething over obama throwing him under the bus to dine in a $2000 winecave
it already happened
daddy’s home
thank you comrade trump welcome to the revolution
grateful for the checks why didnt biden pay me?
trump gets cease fire on genocide and close wars and biden pay for MOAB that genocides
left-wing / right-wing framing does you a disservice they are a part of the neoliberal hawk pecking the global south to death through war and petrodollar
what do you think about treatlerism?
biden funded a genocide for years
trump gets a cease fire day 1
who is the harm reduction candidate now?
everyone that voted blue for that reason may your shame and guilt burden you for life
hmm yes i will take a polite racist over someone that seeks to empower and enrich the proletariat
how very liberal of you
scratch a liberal and a fascist bleeds!
so how come biden could not get a cease fire for the genocide of palestine and trump got it day 1?
i cannot wait for drag to volunteer to go fight for ukraine! im sure you could get dronerights to help you
drag uses drag as a pronoun there for lemmy.nz is drag’s instance and is a new zealand based instance that defederated from hexbear because the server admin did not like hexbear calling out their colonialist views like all defederations from hexbear/lemmygrad it is political in nature they cannot handle the cognitive dissonance from being proven that they are neoliberal
For someone that is engaging in a logical fallacy of appealing to purity with regard to source, where is your source on the political structure of either country?
The substack has listed sources for the information cited, did you see that? They are historical studies and documentaries produced by third parties. I’m curious if you can even find a western-biased source that disputes the factual description of how China’s government is structured as described in the link.
What about the Edelman Trust Barometer?

Clearly the people of China trust their government and since you have yet to provide a source explaining how their government is organized we can only go with my source which clearly indicated that there is direct democracy
