It’s fun watching the people who screamed that they weren’t going to vote for any Dem scream louder when the Dems try to pick up votes from people who were going to vote for Trump.

They aren’t going to pick up any votes from people who were going to vote for Trump… If they didn’t get it by now, they aren’t magically going to get it this week… Meanwhile she’s alienating millions of young/progressive people who she could have gotten to vote for her by… (Checks notes) Not supporting genocide

“Unilaterally halt 70 years of treaties, force a foreign country to obey your will, seize unlawful control of our military, and do it all in a few weeks while campaigning, all as VP” is quite the tall order to all of anyone just in exchange for votes that, let’s be honest, you weren’t going to give anyway.

If you’re going to threaten to stand aside and allow someone way worse to take over, and those are your criteria, then this is just online noise you’re making and not genuine at all.

If you’re looking for something less, such as statements - she’s made them. They’re pretty clear about being about stopping the genocide. So even in that direction, if it isn’t enough, then again this is just online noise you’re making, and not genuine at all.

        You just don’t care.

“shut up about it, I’m talking”

Please cite or quote the outlet where this was recorded, I want to see proof that she said this, like literally.

If you cannot do this well then…you are a liar. Why you would do this I have no idea (but I can speculate and see red hats in my crystal ball).

She’s repeatedly said that she wants a ceasefire, and even said she’s trying to help press for one right now. Literally one rally after the one you’re talking about she paused her talk during a protest and spoke about it to talk about driving for a ceasefire, before resuming the rally.

There’s only so much that is going to happen during a campaign. I understand a degree of general mistrust for politicians overall, but it’s honestly out of her hands unless she gets elected.

Meanwhile the other guy is definitely pro genocide. No room for doubt at all there.

This is a junk comment. She’s the VP, so what you’re suggesting is that she just try and take control she doesn’t have right now. Either you’ve got no idea what you’re talking about or you’re just talking shit.

She could say that she’ll demand Israel stop the genocide on day 1, and immediately stop sending them the means to carry it out… I bet her polling numbers would jump significantly among young people… There’s plenty of other things she could also say she’ll come out the gates swinging for, like single payer healthcare, paying for all education and cancelling student debt, tax the shit out of the rich, etc and say the Dems will primary any Dem who doesn’t get on board ASAP

You’re right, it would, by a significant amount

                    Quote

Our first matchup tested a Democrat and a Republican who “both agree with Israel’s current approach to the conflict in Gaza”. In this case, the generic candidates tied 44–44. The second matchup saw the same Republican facing a Democrat supporting “an immediate ceasefire and a halt of military aid and arms sales to Israel”. Interestingly, the Democrat led 49–43, with Independents and 2020 non-voters driving the bulk of this shift.

                    Quotes

In Pennsylvania, 34% of respondents said they would be more likely to vote for the Democratic nominee if the nominee vowed to withhold weapons to Israel, compared to 7% who said they would be less likely. The rest said it would make no difference. In Arizona, 35% said they’d be more likely, while 5% would be less likely. And in Georgia, 39% said they’d be more likely, also compared to 5% who would be less likely.

                    Quotes

                    Quotes

                    Quotes

Majorities of Democrats (67%) and Independents (55%) believe the US should either end support for Israel’s war effort or make that support conditional on a ceasefire. Only 8% of Democrats but 42% of Republicans think the US must support Israel unconditionally.

Republicans and Independents most often point to immigration as one of Biden’s top foreign policy failures. Democrats most often select the US response to the war in Gaza.

She’s been pushing for a ceasefire since way before Biden supported it. I think her first calls for it came soon after the conflict started.

Those millions of people didn’t vote in 2010 and let the GOP take the House. Those millions of people didn’t vote in 2016 and got us Trump. Those millions of people keep punching themselves in the face expecting the Right to get a nose bleed.

Man, they sound like a large and important voting bloc since their low turnout causes such critical losses. And then Democrats won in 2020 when their turnout was high. Seems like encouraging their turnout would be a good idea. Because surely a Serious Moderate like yourself would want to address reoccurring problems rather punch yourself in the face out of immature spite.

And Liz Cheney and a bunch of other Republicans came out for Harris, but they’re still courting Never Trump votes and you don’t question that in the slightest. Endorsements don’t determine votes.

Those millions of people weren’t eligible to vote in 2010, a lot weren’t in 2016 too… The new generations are just coming into the height of their voting power, but instead of asking them what they want in their elected officials, the idiot libs keep asking the Republicans instead

So, your plan for the next generation is for them to sit on their hands and do nothing because reasons…

When in history has not doing anything and letting the right do whatever they wanted been the best plan?
