I am curious about how it is determined who can and can’t attend white house press meetings, because you can’t just let everyone that wants to go in

Well, now the criteria is whoever is sufficiently cooing at the bloated toad while pretending he’s sooper S.M.R.T and so bigly powerful and handsome. Also, really helps if they are young, blonde and have huge tits.

Journalistic standards? LOL, it’s all gas and no brakes now.

In normal times there is a board that selects who is elegible by various metrics, one being viewership. Then they come up with a rotating schedule for daily access.

Didn’t he already try this…but then it was ruled a 1st amendment violation, and he was forced to give them access again?

Yeah, but I think he has learned by now that it can take weeks for lower courts to issue injunctions. If he were petty enough he could just keep rewording executive orders that get striked down every 2 to 4 weeks to indefinitely keep out those he doesn’t like.

It should be. He’s punishing them for free speech. It’s not up to Trump to decide what is or isn’t “fake news”.

The fact the article about the supposed agreement with Denmark over Greenland appears right above this in my feed would suggest to me that he doesn’t want to face questions about the veracity of his claims, and so banned those most likely to pose them.
