It’s kind of a complicated story, all these events occur within a 48 hour period:

  1. I made a comment along the lines of “today we have groups that resemble nazis and need to be armed to say they’re bad for our future too”
  2. Received a permanent ban, probably related to the word “armed”
  3. Appealed that ban
  4. Receieved a second permanent ban for “multiple violations”
  5. Appeal successful, first ban lifted.
  6. Still banned via second ban, no option to appeal.

The second ban, which appears to be referring to the first ban with “multiple violations” still stands, even with first ban’s successful appeal and lift.

So is that it? No more Reddit for me?

    I got banned after calling out the mod abuse over the recent comics drama. They are now walking back their awful post claiming it was bait (but still banning anyone that points out the inconcistencies)

    Reddit is dying anyways. Has been for a while. It’s all bots & janitors.
