Why do you send all these things as separate files? Is just a rasterised or vector export of the project not enough? Sounds like the design world really needs a standardised container format that can contain all these separate things otherwise.
The way we work together is by exchanging full fresh indesing pakages that contain the main indd, the idml, a pdf, the links folder and the fonts folder so that we always have everything we need.
