You can tell there is a design difference. The Uncharted/C-HR is a Toyota design - front wheel drive first platform (rear motor is only half as powerful as the front) with limited interior space, especially in the back. The Trailseeker/Woodland is a Subaru design - symmetrical 4WD system, ample backseat space, based on the Global Platform, the chassis layout every Subaru’s used in all their cars for years. They know their base, and they’re very much a “don’t change what works” kind of company.
Codeveloped. Toyota is a major holder in Subaru and they share a lot of parts.
More like Toyota owns Subaru at this point. Subaru can’t build anything innovative of their own and haven’t for a decade. RIP.
