An easy hike with great views of the New River Gorge and Bridge, seen from a long cliff edge known as the Endless Wall. This trail is mostly set a couple hundred feet away from the edge, with many spurs leading to choice viewpoints. Provides access to the rock climbing sections for those into that.
Looking south into New River Gorge, some early fall red coloration beginning to show.
The Endless Wall may be seen extending in to the distance.
A view of Diamond Point viewpoint along the Endless Wall, with the New River Bridge in the background.
Beautiful. I miss the Appalachians.
Thanks! Yeah, it’s been great getting to see them again. Been in the PNW for awhile after growing up in NC.
