KWrite hasn’t been released by KDE on the Windows app store, Kate has. Using the app store means seamless updates in the background.
Maybe KWrite is available on winget which would make it a bit less inconvenient than manually downloading each update.
Edit: KWrite isn’t available on winget
C:\> winget search kwrite

Microsoft is in conflict with itself if web apps, modern native apps, or classic native apps are the future. That’s why even different Microsoft applications feel as or even more disconnected from each other than using KDE applications under Gnome.
Also the market is pretty saturated at this point. People who want a Switch got one years ago.
Backwards compatibility on both Xbox and PlayStation cause problems as well.
By default Steam Deck users are presented with the “Best on Deck” tab in the store which is for verified games only.
Deck allows for tinkering and unverified games but it’s not the default experience. As a daily Deck user you should be aware of that.
I’m doing my part
Nothing screams “Workstation” louder than Reddit Mobile.
They got good after Yuke’s was fired by 2K while AEW Fight Forever was still bad. Turned out, the problem was Yuke’s all along.
For decades scales worked just fine without any electricity. Maybe get one of those.
Check out that last link I posted there
I wasn’t disagreeing with you, I was making an (hopefully) entertaining comment.
But that stinks of communism, doesn’t it… 😄
Sprinkle a bit of communism on that capitalism.
The main failing here in the US though is that rail maintenance falls to rail companies that have little financial incentives to spend the money on safety. That may be changing, however if the federal government just hands over money with inadequate oversight it will just enrich the companies.
Sounds almost as if critical infrastructure should be owned by the public.
Unfortunately, our guidelines reserve two-letter TLDs for use by countries only.
Soon:
Fortunately, guidelines are not laws and we’ve got loads of money from Elon Musk who’ll now control that TLD.
Apple probably paid for it
major Wayland compositors are still written in C
KWin is written in C++ but yes, it’s not a “safe” language.
something like this isn’t too unlikely to happen again.
With at least three mainstream implementations – KWin, Mutter, and wlroots – it’s highly unlikely that all would ever be equally affected by one bug.
since you think she should get nothing from both spotify and onlyfans
I don’t know where you got that “both” from.
Regular people don’t get royalties for their work either. Factory workers who assemble ovens don’t get a cut from each meal a restaurant cooks, for example. Those filthy rich musicians, Hollywood actors, etc. keep leaving out that they’ve already been paid millions for their work. They leave out that they sold the publishing rights to record companies. They act as if they earned less than you and me. They are doing absolutely fine. No need to fight for a right to better royalties or anything like that. If they need more money, they can just make new music.
Even a potato can run Linux so regardless of a distro it should be all fine.
A potato with a GPU only compatible with deprecated Nvidia drivers would still be just that and a hard pass for Linux.
Luckily this notebook is AMD-based, so should be fine. Maybe the WiFi card could cause trouble.
What’s her cut of that?
I don’t know, you made the comment that she’s “making ludicrously little from spotify”, so you should know.
Also, nobody should care because: “Allen’s most recent album, No Shame, dropped in 2018.” Those are royalties for doing no work since then. She got paid handsomely by the record company for the distribution rights. She gets paid handsomely whenever she’s on concert. Ongoing royalties are a BS concept.
So you posted a photo of yourself?
