Thank you for demonstrating my point.
Thank you for demonstrating my point.
Well… Yeah.
But this man is not intelligent. I assure you.
RT
So literally the Kremlin’s propaganda arm. Totally normal stuff…
After all, she was a government official at the time, so it’s normal for her to dine with the Russian president. Oh wait, she wasn’t?
Well at least she was a major presidential candidate right? Oh, never more than ~1.4% you say?
Well I’m sure Putin and his oligarch buddies just wanted to meet her because they’re big fans 🙄.
I have a hard time believing any of you Jill Stein shills are actually for real. I really hope you’re not.
There is a huge difference between intelligence and base cunning.
Do you think it takes a brilliant mind to come up with that basic-ass mob bullshit? Trump does the same thing. And we have professors on record saying he was the stupidest person they have ever taught (or possibly encountered? Can’t remember the exact wording).
neither Claudia, Cornel West, or Jill Stein are actively funding a genocide.
Yes, because none of these people work in the government so no fucking shit.
You’re essentially voting for Donald Trump, just remember that. You can try to rationalize it, but you cannot argue with reality.
If you actually gave a single shit about the Palestinian people (that you suddenly started caring about on an election year, despite the conditions in Gaza being this way for literal decades), then you will do anything to make sure that Donald Trump does not get elected.
If you want a viable third party, you don’t wait until 8 months before an election every 4 years to steal votes from the Democratic party. Until we do away with first past the post and/or the Electoral College, voting for anyone other than one of the two major parties is akin to not voting at all (or in many cases, an active detriment to the Democratic party, which is why it’s always such a no-brainer for Putin. Maximum social discord, minimum cost).
I know that you know this. I just want you to remember it when Trump wins and by February Palestine literally ceases to exist. If you want to see this genocide kicked into high gear all you gotta do is: vote for Donald Trump, vote for a third party, or not vote at all… And then you too can feel like you’re part of the action!
So I guess stochastic terrorists will just always get away with it then?
You don’t have to be smart to incite political violence. You’re talking about two different things here.
The man is stupid.
Maybe the internet will get a prion and die
Do you not know what a state dinner is?
Wow, you found one of the millions of photos of The President of the United States dining with another world leader. Congrats.
What was Jill’s excuse?
Jill Stein does not know how many Representatives are in the US House of Representatives.
Anyone care to defend that? That the kind of President you want?
Nah, fuck all that.
Because people make money on businesses doing poorly as well by short selling
My friend, that was already explained in this thread. I think people just generally have a problem with denying people medical care for any reason.
And what, die? I think keeping people alive and preventing unnecessary deaths should be the priority first and foremost. Idaho should be made to improve their healthcare infrastructure, and then we can force them to stay in their state.
But as of right now, the idea of turning someone down at the hospital because their ID says a different state does not sit well with me.
More than that, California (last I checked) had the fifth largest economy in the world when comparing to entire countries.
I think they’ll do just fine.
At some point in your adulthood, you’re going to need to learn the difference between anecdotes and actual statistics/evidence. And guess what, you’re going to often find out that your initial thoughts were completely incorrect.
But that’s fine because it means you learned something.
Maybe that thing for you, today, could be that no number of personal anecdotes, no matter how powerful they may seem, can form a cogent argument. It’s basically meaningless at any statistically significant level.
No. They didn’t do anything because they are ok with it.
It’s almost as if allowing just about anyone to purchase a semiautomatic firearm is a bad idea.
Like almost as though people have shown again and again that they should not be trusted with firearms, let alone have the ability to walk into a gun show and walk out with an AR-15 in under an hour.
But please, everyone tell me about how this is really a mental health issue (that they also refuse to address).
The Glock does not have manual safety mechanism, which means that if there is a round in the chamber, that gun is ready to shoot.
How the fuck is this legal? Seems like requiring a manual safety mechanism on all firearms is a no-brainer.
Any of the folks who place more value in their ability to end another person’s life on a split second than the safety of their own children want to chime in and explain this one to me?
I don’t think I implied it’s anything new. Nor was I trying to say he predicted the future per se. It’s been years since I’ve read it, but I don’t think the section was just about newspeak. I didn’t mind that stuff.
I recall there being a whole section where he kind of steps away from the narrative for a bit and basically writes an essay about controlling people through language. I just remember being like “lol yeah right, controlling thoughts with language? Impossible and boring… bring back Winston” when I was in my teens.
Reading it again as an adult, it didn’t particularly ring true to me at the time either. It wasn’t until I experienced 2015-now that I thought back to it and recognized how wrong I was.
