I may not have had a good air cooler but I rarely hear my pump unless I put it up high then it’s only cause I’m listening afterI changed the speed. Usually it works fine on regular or low. I haven’t had an air cooler for about 8ish years now either so good chance they’ve improved.
Haven’t checked out many of their reviews I’ll keep them in mind, at first I had them confused with guru3d who seem to come up often for parts reviews. I always like to find the worst points of a few reviews then if they don’t seem too bad maybe the product is acceptable heh. Though you do need a handful to check for sure.
I like the AIOs cause the fans don’t sound like they’re lifting an aircraft carrier. I’m more conscious of noise cause my gaming PC is near to the main tv so don’t want my gf to be inconvenienced when she is watching TV, I suppose I could get a lower sound fan that’d do it well (haven’t really looked at options for years) but most of them sounded loud when I switched and I like my toys too, though I swear my previous version was making a whining noise for awhile (pump I think) but long since upgraded since I forgot to check radiator size one case upgrade.
I’m in there, I feel closer to Millenial than Gen X but not quite full Millenial. Think it’s also referred to as the Oregon Trail generation, due to it being a common early PC game to play in class when they taught us computers. I still remember first seeing the trash bin on a Macintosh grow fat when it had items in it, I thought it was awesome, years before Windows.
I’ve lived where tap water tasted like shit, not quite literally but eveytime I went home I’d have to remember not to drink the tap water. Eventually that town got a better water treatment plant but I can sort of see it from that angle. We always had the big 4gallon jugs (again may not be correct but the bigger jugs that sit on top for a dispenser) for regular drinking water
Thankfully where I moved to (many many kms away) the tap water was awesome, don’t live there now but I still do tap water over filtered for the most part. Never seems that much worse so may as well.
Really the only reason you’d drink the other tap water was cause you’re hungover…also been there. Then you remember that there’s a water dispenser somewhere in that house cause no one drank the water from the tap in the town. Even the better water wasn’t great but still noticably improved.
Ya heard of me?
Who hasn’t heard of…(Stop now before I type out the script).
He was hilarious, but I hope he knows he probably can’t do it quite the same and maybe get replaced by the novice, homogenized milk. I really got no idea what fat content of milk is used for yogurt but think you get the idea. He could even be quite fabulous.
Sounds like something an idiot would say, hopefully people with that intellect level never have real authority…oh… I kinda said that oh in my head like a Plinket review does
I think it could work in a similar way that Detroit Become Human did, basically a story with some impactful choices to make replayability but it’d be more difficult if they restricted it to a single person which those stories usually do, so maybe an Agatha Christie style get together of perspectives without a way to leave. Maybe close to Amnesia but I didn’t make it far in that one, I get nervous in those games lol.
Edit if someone implements the game from this idea I’ll gladly accept a free copy. Though to be fair I’ll probably buy one on a steam sale anyways.
I think that’s my favourite Lovecraftian type movie. It took me till years (maybe a couple decades) later to learn of Lovecraft and then I realized exactly why I enjoyed it so much.
When Leeto got bored of the Duncans and didn’t use his prescience. Don’t mind me been listening to the Dune series for the umpteenth time again. Just the core ones of course.
Carry definitely has good options too, The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and I don’t think he went all funny guy in The Number 23, I recall I enjoyed it but very litte else about it.
Edit: Oh of course Truman Show but that goes without saying.
I always give Stranger Than Fiction as an example to see Will Ferrall do a non-usual comedy movie, I enjoyed it anyways. Some people can’t stand his usual schitck which I can understand. Though I do enjoy the studiest of comedy and he can nail that genre, but I do think it takes talent/skill to pull it off as well as he does.
Not sure how many people will get this, but way back when I have Eve online a go, I made either some containers or markers (guessing markers? Cause otherwise I’d have just took the cargo but can’t recall why I had two then), but they were called the bees knees and the cat’s pajamas. For some reason I always liked those terms for something good. I’m ‘only’ in my 40s so not quite from my time lol.
Sometimes you may not have a choice with who fights you. I recall once in Calgary a few decided to try and fight our group and we just disengaged, but if they were adament about fighting there was little we could do. It was quite random and we’d were in our middle teens and don’t think we said anything first but it’s going back like 30 years so recollection is hazy. I think we were just walking around in the evening is all.
So people just are looking for a fight and maybe our disinterest curbed their desire but I have no doubt there are others who wouldn’t be curbed by that and just want to beat on people.
I do agree with the general sentiment but sometimes even if you do everything correctly the wrong outcome happens.
All the angels used the best greeting…Norm!
I’ll have a beer in your name tomorrow. My gf and I are watching through Cheers currently, only season 2 and it’s all nostalgia. To be fair we don’t really remember most of these early episodes but every episode feels like watching TV with my parents in the 80s to me.
Probably not needed these days for a comment but one of my favourites.
If you don’t mind the graphics, the game is extremely fun and varied (for the game it is) and a great city / community builder, with a lot of gameplay that verges on wholesomeness to psychotic, depending how much organ harvesting and cannibalism you delve into. Neither end is really required and you can only eat the bad people if that works, or no people, but depends on the map sometimes. Really for the most part you grow food and build structures to defend from jerks, what you do beyond that can make a unique story though.
Yes more TNG sounds good! I’ll be honest haven’t watched a series since Enterprise, but I do still watch TNG and well most Enterprise and pre series. Not as much Enterprise as the rest mind you.
Also yes, Orville almost scratches the TNG itch but not 100%.
Forget the value for sale offhand but yes you can harvest organs and replace them. Had to remove and put back in a brain when I played last.
I’m an adult, always enjoyed milk but not much beyond a bowl of cereal or a glass (possibly chocolate) in a day. Don’t have it overly often most of the time but even if I do it’s not a lot. Still feels satisfying to have in my 40s. Of course I may be considered weird for other reasons by many but didn’t think the milk consumption factored in heh.
Edit thought I’d add, has at least protein in it so there are worse things to have with more sugars, though yes know lactase breaks down to carbs (or something similar I may have forgotten the name)
