There are outliers, and this could be a correlation or Lenny’s own form of propane’s, but there’s still a lot of disagreement in the comments over the finer points a lot of the time (as Reddit once was like) so imo there is some evidence of broad resistance to at least some forms of propaganda here. Given also how much of it is outright critical of many of the more mainstream forms of propaganda.
It’s admittedly a weak correlation based on personal experience browsing /r/all so it would be absurd to imply anything causal re: autism but thinking about that got me thinking about this and also a better chance to understand some members of another type of neurotypical so I figured I’d ask.

Fair point. I personally like that it’s insulting though so I like the wide definition more.

I like to eat, get my bill, and immediately. It’s a restaurant. I’m there for the food. Why the fuck would I linger.
One of the things I loved the most in Japan is they bring you as soon as, or shortly after, you get your food. If you add more they just bring you an updated bill.
Or there’s a machine at the front so you can just pay before you leave. You still have the bill though.
Like. Fuck. It was like being in heaven.

I’m not doubting you, by the way, I’m just interested in whether someone’s ever leveraged this for malicious reasons.

If you take the mindset that you’re preparing for a nonlethal war and prepare beforehand by bringing tasers and attaching them to very long wooden sticks, or topping the stick with pins that may get stuck in skin but will break when stuck in skin, or even just use the very long sticks, all you need to do is find enough people to drill in classical battle formations for a while. I think the phalanx did good against a Roman shield wall if it didn’t have to maneuver much, which is perfect for city steeets.
Hell, you could go the whole nonlethal bullets route with 3d print guns, but I think firing weapons may result in very much and very lethal escalation, so while I wouldn’t recommend it I don’t see why 3d printed guns couldn’t be used in a staggered fire formation like they used in the 1800s, except you’d just keep preloaded single use pistols in the back pre-loaded with nonlethal rounds. It would be inaccurate as all fuck but that’s the beauty of infantry formations in the 1800: the guns were inaccurate as fuck. At least in the beginning.
If they’re safe enough to use against protestors then the police shouldn’t have a problem, right?
Oh shit.
I didn’t even notice.
First I forgot about Dre and now I forgot about windows 95. Smh my head.
Because most homophobes aren’t afraid of gay people. They hate them. It’s a very non descriptive labels fan is technically incorrect in most cases, though it DOES work as an insult to homophobes by making them seem like an absolute fucking wuss so I’m not in arms about that. In fact, I support it despite this fact. Fuck you, homophobes, you fucking dicks.

On the great side (for me) Microsoft’s shitty fucking online installation requirements helped prompt me permanently switching to Linux.
On the negative side the issues were still there.
On the positive side I learned about air gapping a pc.
On the native side the issues were still there.
On the negative my self installed deadbolt was a waste of $40 because I forgot my fucking keys in it once and the issue was still there. Also I didn’t install it properly.
On the positive side my new deadbolt evidently works.
On the negative side it cost me $500 in addition to brand new hardware and the cost of a locksmith to install it securely.
On the mixed side I epoxied my windows shut, which was a very elegant solution by my apartment being very easy to break in to.
On the positive side I won’t even touch windows now, and my knowledge of how a pc and operating system works has increased exponentially under Linux and I actually understand a little bit of C, in addition to bash and Python, which is, awesome.
On the positive my home is secure which is awesome.
On the negative side: WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK.
On the mixed side I also no longer order from Amazon. Or order electronics from anywhere.
The ready to eat meals at all the corner stores in Japan are very good indicators of why this is the case too. So many healthy options. It’s insane.
Also lots of absolute garbage but the option is nice.
