  • First of all, LOL, what a clown move by a clown committee.

Second, I don’t give a shit about the Clintons and neither should anybody else. I would have loved for them to be held accountable for contempt, if it weren’t for the fact that the committee itself lacks credibility and deserves it.

Third, I’m just hoping for the silver lining that liberal Democrats learn the hard way what they should’ve done with that power, back when they had the chance to wield it against MAGA fuckwads legitimately.

  • FWIW, I play a lot of the sort of games where you use the mouse as a cursor to click on UI elements, so I actually like that it isn’t captured and I can still click on other programs’ windows. (For example, looking things up in the game’s wiki while playing something like Oxygen Not Included or Stardew Valley.)

I can see how it’d be super-annoying in a shooter, though. I don’t recall it ever being an issue for me, but I’m not sure if that’s because it “just worked” correctly, or if it’s because I just happened to run my shooter games in “real” full-screen mode instead of borderless window mode without really thinking about it.

Is there a reason why “real” full-screen mode doesn’t work for you?

  • The fact remains that the local bike infrastructure is much more valuable to me than a transit system with shitty last-mile connections is. The reason I can’t get to Costco via MARTA, for instance, is that the nearest station dumps you out on a six-lane highway with no bike lane. (The bike infrastructure is decent near my house, but not out in the suburbs where the Costcos are.)

Transit is almost entirely useless unless you can walk or bike from the station to your actual destination. That makes ped/bike infrastructure a prerequisite for transit, not the other way around.
