In 1920, during the “Kapp Putsch”, 12 million workers went on strike and the coup collapsed in about 100 hours!

NGL, this was my first guess why they called it that.

Or all those guns that so regularly end up in school shootings, yet are supposedly essential for their freedom™ and for “fighting an unjust government.”

Especially considering that people have already shot at government forces over issues like fair wages and workers’ rights.
