  • I can’t wait for this to effectively do nothing oe alternatively kill games that have an online only capability that refuse to devote work to force a single player model/release their netcode.

This is the stupidest, well intentioned movement I’ve seen in awhile and the fervor behind it is a waste. You know what you want but refuse to understand why it can’t happen. You chase the past not realizing you can never go back.

This is most republican shit I’ve ever seen. “Make games great again!” Jesus.

  • Wokeness by itself has never been an issue for me but the people who believe it’s profitable to “be woke” often miss the point. I don’t want a black character in place of an established white character. I want new stories that have that diversity from the foundation. I don’t want things to be replaced, I want them to be phased out gradually by the introduction of more “woke” things seperated from current things.

Overcorrecting can be as bad as the problem originally was and in doing so can garner hate from an otherwise neutral party.

  • I’ve blocked communities and instances that don’t speak English, ones that have absurd ideological basis (anarchy supporters), and occasionally people who just say really dumb things, a lot.

I vastly prefer encouraging blocking over censorship/moderation. If someone is being an asshole, having the ability to say it, vent those feelings for a moment, then readjust is a catharsis that’s been nearly outlawed especially on platforms on like TikTok.

Obviously not everything should be permitted and everything has its limits, but the internet seems to over correct things into a passionless husk of forced friendliness. To shove people into forming a facade that feels like a shrinking cage. Sterile.

Curating my own experience has been invaluable and I highly encourage it.

  • I’ve only ever traded in a vehicle I’ve fully paid off and the money that would have been handed to me for that trade goes towards the down payment of the new vehicle.

Assuming the vehicle was bought prior to people being aware Musk was Trump aligned (about when he bought Twitter), most vehicles would be mostly paid off if not fully.

I have to reiterate though that if someone can’t afford a vehicle due to a change in circumstances, trading it in for a cheaper vehicle is a pretty common sense decision. You aren’t paying off a vehicle that’s no longer in your possession.
