A word of caution: If you use bitlocker (copy your keys!), it can have hooks in the TPM/bios settings.

Disable bitlocker prior to attempting a live boot.

It will lock your disk if you don’t prepare for it.

Some tvs will attempt to connect with another and use its internet link if available. Samsung tries this.

Evidence of what exactly? Was a crime previously committed? Was it the officer’s “instincts” that told them so? I have never seen these. Thanks for mentioning them. I use a bunch of nvidia shield boxes and they are getting older by the day. Seeking alternatives and I like the looks of these. They do state they are not Netflix certified, but what does that mean? Will it work and they just don’t guarantee it? I’d say half the shield’s duty is Netflix and the other half is streaming from a nas. I use a separate pc w/FF for youtoob for the ad blocking. Would love to distill down to one box and this looks very nice. Thanks again!

That’s a little more of a pain to remove/disable them, but yes the old SSD will work fine for Linux. Windows does not respect the user or their experience so if you dual boot MS will clobber your Linux boot loader at some point. Keeping thing physically separate allows you to retain control.

The only games that deffo have issues in Linux are titles with anti-cheat built in.

Hey, I am also a fan of rotating my shoes. They do seem to last longer that way and are more useful over a longer period of time. I still have Pumas from years ago. They start as my indoor workout shoes, then they are the outdoor casuals, then outdoor workers. I move them to dirtier duty over time. My oldest pair (~15yrs) are on dog-poop duty and now never come inside, but they are about to retire permanently. The hole in the side is now letting in too much moisture so my sock gets soaked. They’ve been good pooper troopers!

I am very cynical. I don’t think there will be productive conversation happening in private either. I’d be more inclined to think threats and intimidation will be the brunt of it. The orange turd thinks he’s a mobster, but does have the backing of Russia and Israel.
