Technically I think the rules say that if you make the tiniest error it could invalidate it. The SCOTUS rulings don’t say that but if sent to them now they could change that. For an old fat guy there’s a pretty high actuarial chance they don’t make it another few years. But the point of running is that being a presidential candidate by itself makes you able to run pacs and take in bribe money. So they will be running for president for the next term no matter what.

No it’s the Russian system. Everyone in the administration gets bribes and kickbacks all the time, only those who fall out of favor get exposed, there is no actual calling that doesn’t matter. It’s just a way of punishing people that displease trump by exposing their shocking corruption, while everyone else’s is there but hidden. When everyone gets corruption only those who are naughty to the president get punished.

The problem is that they have too much debt and they can’t just ignore it anymore. They can complain but they have to cut spending somewhere or increase revenue. Now they can raise the retirement age for everyone. Or they can take the money from the billionaires. But that still doesn’t get you closer to lowering the deficit which is very high well over 100 percent of GDP. That means the protests are really just complaining that France doesn’t have enough money but you can’t keep the spending going as is without a lot of drastic cuts. All you can do is cuts now or kick the can down the road and hope something changes. Or just default on the debt and say fuck it.
