Exactly where I am at right now. I’m pretty frugal; started out with nothing and I still have most of it left.

At gym: rest timer goes off, me seeing that guy eyeing my bench for the last 20 minutes, better knock out the last set.
At home: rest timer goes off, “You’re not the boss of me!”
Also me: between set, mmm, a pb&j sounds great right about now, wanders off
I think the original founder of 50501 was strong-armed out by a “professional” group of protesters. That’s pretty sus in itself.

Can confirm.
Having an progressive program tailored to one’s goals is key.
In the first 6 months of going to the gym I wasn’t seeing a lot of results. It was certainly better than nothing; I was learning the exercises, developing the base level strength to handle beginner weight levels… But where were these newbie gains everyone was talking about?
It wasn’t until I got on a good plan that I started making noticable leaps in strength. A year in, I decided to add in some cardio (just a 2 mile run) and suddenly I started blowing up.
When I finally got my routine optimized I could be in and out of the gym in an hour. 3 times a week, that was it. If I was tight on time, I would simply do my run on my off days.
So daily investment of 30 to 45 minutes.
You can buy a cheap weight bench and you won’t even have to go to the gym. Hell, you can buy a cheap rack, too, like I did and do every exercise in your home for free.
You can accidentally lose 45 minutes just zoned out on the couch flipping through channels, so time-wise, it’s about the best ROI you could ever make.

This sounds like a bunch of bullshit. And most of these testing after-action reports are nothing but marketing attempts.
They set up very specific environments, give very specific instructions with very specific libraries and tool sets then pretend to be surprised when it finally fumbles its way through it.

Rarity, you don’t even have opposable thumbs, don’t act like you’re too good to live in the carport next to this guy’s mom’s trailer!

What the fuck is frogging?

You seem to be under the impression that everyone is getting the same news. They are not. This gripping drama isn’t even on the radar of the so-called normies. And they wouldn’t care either way except to align with how the story is spun to fit their preferred narrative.
For others, they already know. This is just another of a long series of “news” tidbits thrown out for the more disgruntled masses for them to sit, smugly, in the comfort of their armchairs, and with vindication, feeling temporarily superior while verbally masturbating with each other and becoming aquatic decorative experts.
It’s fine, and par for the course, really. The people most affected by the current status quo are generally incapable of making any meaningful contribution to their own collective well-being. I keep forgetting that and shouldn’t have even bothered to mention it.

I wish people could come together and say collectively to ‘news outlets’: “no, stop reporting on this, it is not news” and they would cease pushing the asinine minutiae of idiocy which distracts us and dilutes our conversations about what should be done and return their spotlight onto the important events happening.

Without hormonal influence, repulsion is the natural reaction regarding sex. Weird smells, orifices, fluids, grunting and sweating all up in personal space, goofy faces, the entire act is inherently gross. It takes a powerful cascade, a cocktail if you will, of hormones to induce procreation.

Going outside

Yeah, but they’d be YouTube influencers

God I hate these overwrought, click-baity titles; they cheapen the very event that’s important enough to become newsworthy in the first place. Just stop. It’s not a fucking sporting event and treating politics like it’s entertainment, instead of with the gravitas it deserves, is a big part of the reason we’re in this mess.
If you’re reporting the news then fucking report it. Don’t embellish it like it’s a fanfic you couldn’t get published. The Daily Beast is one of the worst offenders, all their titles sound trashy and it smacks of pandering to stupid people, just like Fox news does but for Democrats.

No, they get stronger as they modernize.
Just wait until they figure out how to get on the wifi.

Thank you for the kind words.

500 Michigans?? That’s quite a bit longer!

Personal issues got in the way.

Well sure. I started a mobile auto repair business. That’s a field that is rife with incompetents, junkies, and straight up scammers. It’s the Wild West as far as businesses go.
Unlike most of the mobile guys in town, I went all in on the professional front. Had a webpage, business cards, uniforms, took CC on the spot or online, emailed pdfs of estimates, diagnostics, and invoices, etc.
By the time I wrapped it up, I had a huge roster of clients. Years later I still get calls. I did it simply by being honest and trying to make sure my customers interests were also my interests.
I turned down work if it was outside of my abilities, I never upsold, if I broke something I paid for it out of pocket, and tried my very hardest to not recommend any repair without solid diagnostics first.
Had I wanted to keep going, I could have easily hired a crew and expanded. Once your name gets out, there’s more work than one person can shake a stick at. And expanding means transitioning from laborer to manager. Then it’s on to franchising.
When you get an LLC, the banks will throw money at you. Even without collateral. What ever you are being offered in personal loans now, times it by 10. Show a years worth of growth and reasonable fiscal management and they’ll give you a key to the vault. No joke.
So, yes, if you have a skill, you can do honest business and turn very little into a lot.
Prep cook at a small restaurant. Tell them you only want to work part-time and they’ll make it happen.
Then just put on your headphones and chop vegetables and meats for a few hours. Lowest stress position in a kitchen. And you usually have your own separate kitchen area and nobody will bother you.
