7·7 days agoThis is why that comment anonymizer is a thing. It edits your comments & scrambles everything to gobbledygook so even if you didn’t delete the account it’s illegible. I guess maybe someone could still find a specific page and go back on the Wayback Machine to see what you originally wrote?
IIRC the only portion of Vivaldi that isn’t open source is their UI code, for what that’s worth. Guess they want to keep an edge there? I’m Currently migrating my Android from Vivaldi to Brave; using xBrowserSync (bookmarks), Proton Pass (passwords), and KDE Connect to keep it synchronized to desktop (debian 13 using KDE Plasma) instead of Vivaldi’s sync. Kind of a pain after using a single service for some time but I don’t trust anyone anymore.

3·9 days agoI’m a Christian who doesn’t celebrate Christmas. You can imagine how that goes over with the family. But it’s definitely a super pagan celebration. 🤷

2·12 days agoJust made the switch from Linux Mint to debian13 w/ KDE Plasma myself. So far so good! I wanted to try Debian after using mostly Ubuntu and derivatives. What is HWA?
Have you tried other sugar alcohols? (Erythritol, Xylitol, Sorbitol, etc) They’re typically used as calorie-free sugar alternatives.

I have a child clearly on the spectrum as well. One thing that is helping is to teach some sort of grounding technique like taking a big breath and releasing it a few times. It gives them something to focus on that they can control. Then after the initial overwhelm of emotions subsides they can decide how to deal with the situation (asking for help, communicating their frustration, etc) without exploding. As they get older we’ll probably work on specific phrases they can use to let others know, as politely as possible, that they need a minute to get their bearings.
Thank you
