Thank you. This is great.
Yes. Please list one.
Pulling forward the first paragraph of the article, as we are far from universally reading articles these days.
Hacker News (aka HN) is a link aggregator where “hackers” gather to discuss technology, politics, and anything which “good hackers would find interesting”. HN is a means by which its host, prominent startup incubator Y Combinator, projects soft power, promotes startups it funds, and feeds people with ideas into its incubation program. Hacker News is one of the most popular forums for discussing technology online today – perhaps the biggest.
Does any know of a pro-union or pro-cooperative startup incubator?

indigenous nation
We don’t know the player’s characters aren’t indigenous.
I know this one! Not all countries provide tax deductions for marriage. I was going to say there is not one in Japan, but on looking it up, it is more complicated than I care to look at. (I understand spouses tend to have separate finances, but I am far from Japan.)
The historical lens on taxes and marriage is also as complex as one might think.
Point being, in your setting, marriage does not need to have any tax implications at all.
Edit: Removed paywalled link about history of marriage.
Great send up of Swap!
Swap is great though. And to point out again that there are ratings on quality SSDs for the lifetime writes. Pull up the data sheet and look for “DWPD”, which is “Disk Writes Per Day”. Typical numbers for good swap drives are 1 and 3. If DWPD is not listed, then plan for frequent drive failures if using heavy, heavy swap (like for ZFS swap drives (Yes, these are different from a OS swap partition)).
Anyway, I just wanted to point out the DWPD statistic.

4·2 months agoI would need logs to attempt to troubleshoot that. Might have to look at a Zima OS community to learn the troubleshooting steps. Otherwise, try reading the latest files in /var/log.

4·2 months agoRight.
1 - Initial coins received by developer.
2 - Developer starts wallets #2 through #10 that obtain the coin. Coins are nearly free and only cost processing power.
3 - Others obtain coins.
4 - Developer destroys developer coins.
5 - Confidence is coin grows.
6 - Wallets #2 through #10 make trades with each other. Maybe one goes silent after a bit.
7 - At each new high, or something, a few of the wallets sell some coins.
8 - Repeat over next 20 years.
Yes! It helps if it is clear the bad guy has been doing things as well. (Aren’t there a few games where the bad guy moves locations with this, so if one is really fast, they can catch them rather weak.)

12·2 months agoGiven that, wouldn’t the next play to be to have a set of accounts each with a “reasonable” number of coins each? Then as confidence builds in the coin, these smaller positions can liquidate over time.
I do wonder if they looked more official it would have been fine. A high-vis jacket and a deer fence.
Yeah. Seems they don’t want to deal with trees falling over in ~50 years.
School’s playground had to cut some down due to $local_tree_issue. They didn’t want to replant due to possible construction in 5 years. Also, no shade cloths as they fail in a small number of years.
Crime Pays But Botany Doesn’t
There is also a webpage. With words.

I found myself explaining the Urban Heat Island to a cop a few nights ago after a lady in the neighborhood called the cops on me for planting trees on city property next to her house.
Yes. I see two obvious ones of Switch 3 and Switch 5. Did an AI make this? If so, it wasn’t a good one.
It should be noted this sort of thing started with “picking the charity that does the best job” and is now at “getting humanity to multiple planets to survive a catechism”. They skipped all of the middle steps that could help anyone at all today.

Here is a popular press article on it. It is easy to locate github repositories and research groups developing it.
