Do you mean color? No, no I do not.
It’s crazy how expensive it is too. At my HS, as an ASB rep got contacted by DARE reps once and they where oh its only $15k per classroom. It all made sense when I started to learn its always been a money grubbing grift. It never had a good reason to exist other then excuse to charge alot for busybwork.
CBS says they will not fact check the debate, some people see this is because ABC was threatened and so CBS is caving to Trumps threats
Yes, from I’ve read they haven’t quoted any specific patent to anyone. They don’t have good grounds, they just want it shut down.
If I remember correctly, they don’t have mammalian glands and instead “sweat” thier milk for thier young.
Regulation? In the U.S.? Laws aren’t just made by anyone you know. /Joke Seriously, I don’t think this law is a huge step to solving the issue but American Corporate lobbyist will spin something like this as the second coming of the USSR. Actually that’s been the strategy for just about everything. We do have wayy to many people that’d rather see the country implode then, (oh no) compromise or (aghast) do something good for everyday folks.
Fair, that’s the part where I think a parent needs to have the will and authority to say no to their kid, but I understand that can be difficult. This may do some good but as I am sure some loopholes will form and it doesn’t forbid ads 100%, it wont stop Fast Food ads. Even if fast food wasn’t directly advertised, I believe there is more factors, like the availability of healthy options, many families don’t have the time or money to make good healthy meals. This law is a good thing, but I personally don’t see it as a huge win, just a patch that will be touted to solve problems it doesn’t address.
As I said, I think availability and awareness are as big of factors. I 100% believe most Europeans have better access to healthier foods then many americans. Granted ads may spur kids to bug thier parents but if parents did better at saying no, and could give thier kids better options. I think it’s not just a personal responsibility but a communal, a government responsibility to ensure access to information and food are available. When no better options are made available, there is a problem.
lol, collect calls all over agian
I mean they will just plug in something different or find a loophole, would playing the Mmm hmm mm? and a big M be a fast food commercial? We aren’t going to see less ads, just different ones.
Eh? Ads may play a part, but options and parent education are more important. I see people not realizing how bad junk food is for thier kids, don’t have many options or simply dont care.
A kid can see an ad, but a kid can’t buy it. It’s up to the parents to be telling thier kid no, and giving them healthier options. Far better will be Informing parents better strategies on feeding thier kids and ensuring healthy options are readily available.
As long as parents think a cup of soda everyday is fine for thier kid and healthy options are prohibitively expensive (Monetarily or time), we will get nowhere.
actually yes, there have been alot of games in the rpgmmo ish game like genshin and the ark / survival builder games like Palworld.
Whenever a game becomes popular people and studios try to make thier own. Palworld is an example of one that worked (it being Ark survival evolved: pokemon editon)
But seriously we’ve had ups, fedex and amazon drivers deliver packages in ways that our front door or gate could not be opened. Kept complaining but one time we complained saying they could of killed us (Front door being blocked could kill someone in certain cases) poor cs rep trying to say no but uh yeah. I dunno what they put in our file but very rarely does it happen anymore. (and don’t get me started on USPS where we had to talk to the post master general to stop that BS)
Reducing the fare wont get me on the bus. In my city there is a catch 22. There isn’t enough riders to justify routes and there isn’t enough routes to justify riding. I would save $150 a month if I took the bus. But I would spend 100 more hours a month on my commute.
Seems not so much a “tik-tok problem” but example of a 21st century fad.
Fads, crazes, etc. have come and gone. Something able become a nationwide fad overnight is a product of the internet.
See, that may be the case. Or it might not be. It’s a risk vz reward right now. I am not good with computers and have had my PC, laptop, phone and smart watch, inexplicably break, get stuck on boot and had to have them repaired. I just know my mistakes are easier to screw up my computer and data on linux. So the worse MS gets, the more I am willing to risk it.
Yes. I have win 10 and 11 devices. They both lack certain options and I’ve had to go around them, like using control panel. In this case only the win 11 device is at risk of getting much worse.
Right, I forgot, MS doesn’t want you to have control what programs are doing or how your computer works. Corporate way or…linux.
I may be technologically challenged but Microsoft has been steadily selling me on linux ever since windows 10.
Too many friends and distant family, from marginalized communities telling me “They don’t mean me, I am a legal American citizen”
