So they float, of course.
This is an old internet joke.
Still the 18th here. Anyone know where I can buy some inflatable sex dolls and helium at this hour?

That’s really interesting. I wonder how voting works (or doesn’t) for US researchers in remote parts of the world, like McMurdo station?
Estrogen, yes. Trans guys are fucked if we’ve got to order testosterone off the internet.
The elites don’t want you to know this but the geese at the park are free you can take them home I have 458 geese
I like the idea of being able to take physical notes, in multiple different colors, and making it digitally searchable without the hassle and waste of digitally scanning physical notes. When I was a full time student, I really wanted something like this.
But the price and actual capabilities? No thanks.
You forgot cis gay men.
The insane pricing creating a miserable push to do all the things is basically the entire Disney experience for families. I used to work in one of the parks, and people were exhausted and burnt out trying to do everything, and my advice to people visiting the parks was always “don’t try to do everything, try to pick some of it and enjoy what you do”.
I was in class when the debate happened, and too much Trump is exhausting - I’m watching the Daily Show recap right now. Something I’ve noticed is that somebody actually did Trump’s makeup correctly for the debate, he didn’t look like an Oompa Loompa for once.
If you’re in a bigger city, maybe see if you can get work with IATSE doing stagehand stuff?
Ooh, a choco taco is way better than a sticker!
(Sadly, the Choco Taco was discontinued a couple years ago.)
Abolish the corn welfare system. 95% of corn is not grown for human consumption. Let’s grow more of our own food.
Uh… I am not opposed to this, as a vegetarian, but… uh… the logical conclusion of this policy would be extremely unpopular. The corn that’s not for human consumption is used in industrial and manufactured products (and ethanol, which is something we actually should get rid of, it just doesn’t make sense as a product) and in livestock feed lots. If you stop subsidizing corn, meat gets more expensive.
The downside is you still have to work out.
They might have been asking about methane production, that’s a big topic for cattle because it’s a very potent greenhouse gas and having a lot of cattle produces a lot of methane - and it’s a byproduct of how their digestive systems work and all ruminants, sheep included, have that problem to some degree.
I wasn’t able to find a definitive answer, but per animal sheep aren’t as bad, but it’s due to their smaller size and if western countries kept eating the same amount of meat but ate more sheep (due to it being cheaper from the demand for sheep condoms, lol) instead of beef I’m not sure it would be better. (Replacing chicken with sheep would definitely be worse though.)
Honestly, I’m just impressed the owner realized he was useless, and apologized. The franchise owner I worked for was an unpleasant, angry individual who would have just yelled at his overworked and underpaid employees for not keeping up with the lunch rush.
I knew someone who used to say this about the Republicans and abortion, that they used the issue for fundraising from evangelicals and they weren’t actually going to overturn Roe v Wade. I didn’t think she’s saying that anymore.
(Although immigration is very much a different topic, the oligarchs in charge mostly seem to realize that undocumented immigrants and H1B visa workers are much easier to exploit and abuse, so it’s in their best interest to not fuck with those programs too much. But DeSantis did and fucked up the citrus industry in Florida for a while…)
If they do know and this is bigotry, someone should probably tag the blahaj admins.
