If they ain’t first party, they’re certainly close enough that you couldn’t tell the difference.
I am Zach, AKA AceFuzzLord, AKA Dizzy Devil Ducky!

I maintain a stance that the only reason they’re still around is because of brand recognition. Literally the only reason I could think of anyone liking their slop.
It’ll be hard to see that when their vision will be blocked by stacks of yen.
The problem is they’re such a large and recognizable company that they could probably switch to making and selling malware and everyone would still buy it without thinking twice. Humanity is full of idiots.
Good call. Let’s ban them both.
Couldn’t tell you what the oldest building in my city is, but I assume it’s either an old house in what I assume is the historic district. That, or the clocktower in the downtown park that was once part of a transcontinental railway station.
On a couple side notes, I know I did a class field trip in elementary school to one of the old buildings (don’t remember much about it besides a service elevator that if I recall was just held by rope and wasn’t electric), which compared to other places in America is nothing considering I found out my city was founded around 1881. Can’t say I approve of the part where they fought the natives for the land, but history is full of horrid things so there’s no use dwelling on something you can’t change.
I’m personally on the fence about this type of stuff. On one hand, yes I 100% agree about actually keeping kids safer online (not like the politicians “Think of the kids!” type of “safety”). On the other I don’t want anyone to have to give up privacy by having to confirm their age by sending some form of verification, whether that picture/video of ID with birth date on it or having an AI that will inevitably get so many false positives judge you, just to access a service online.
It can definitely work if you’ve trained it right. It’s how I discovered many of my now favorite vocaloid/utau/deepvocal/whatever songs, amongst other groups outside of that vocal synth genre. It definitely isn’t doing me super dirty in the music department.
In a way, this sounds similar to someone using a DiffSinger or ENUNU voicebank to make music, but without having to write all the lyrics word/syllable for word/syllable on individual notes and change the notes they’re on individually because you pitched them wrong. Also without the backing track too.
Either way, interesting enough that you can even do this kinda stuff. Especially since any time I’ve played around with that kind of AI, it’s always never turned out even remotely halfway decent in any way.
Picking a favorite artist is hard, but I recently got a CD for the For Squirrels album Example a few days ago. Absolutely in love with it, every single song on it. Especially the CD version of Mighty K.C., which feels like an extended version of what plays during the official music video on yt.
Can’t say who’s my favorite, but they’re definitely up there.
Leftover dinner. Not a huge breakfast fan.
Nobody is calling either game GOATs, but I personally really like Sonic Riders Zero Gravity and Cartoon Network Racing.
Been going at it little bit by little bit, but Baba Is You. Puzzle Is Hard. Game Is Fun. Brain Is Dumb.
As someone who has trouble with sarcasm (especially online), a good /s is always helpful.
Either that, or they got enough refurbished ones to sell. Either way, a great device either LCD or OLED.
Sadly the only people who would switch over to an actual Linux phone would be the people like the stereotypical Linux using Lemmy user. The average android user would just continue on like nothing happened because they’re not tech literate enough to know what’s going on or why they should care.
Got back into my New Vegas run. I have a good feeling that some time within the next few centuries I might even finish the game for the first time in my life.
That’s the exact reason I have only bought budget phones. That, and they actually have a sim/sd card slot.
And just like every other time, it’s China promising to work with the US while crossing their fingers behind their back and the US coming out of it for the n-th time thinking “they’re finally gonna listen to us”.
Nothing ever changes if open dialogue is your main choice of weapon.
Just copy every post you find on something like LinkedIn Lunatics. Spread them out over the course of a certain interval of time since you’d hope they have spam filters, making sure to repeat the same things and continue adding stuff to the list. Do this for as many accounts as you are able to make.
Enough people do it and hopefully their AI would be constantly saying batshit things, hopefully, assuming the accounts don’t get blocked.
