Look, my point is that they have options. If legitimate criticism of the genocide being carried out by Jewish Zionists makes them uncomfortable, they do not have to stay here and listen to it. I’m not saying they can’t stay here, I’m not saying they should be expelled or forcibly deported, nor am I condoning or advocating for discrimination or harassment against Jewish people in general, I’m saying those Jewish people who are uncomfortable here, for whatever, reason do not have to stay here. No slippery slope or reading between the lines, that’s it.
It’s not unreasonable for a group of people to work together to make the place they live safer for them, whether it’s from the authorities or the crowd or both. There are plenty of ways the Jews of New York have historically done that, and can do that now, without leaving.
They have no power over Netanyahu but he has none over them.

Lots of people genuinely don’t realize that a large part of the conservative support for Israel is rooted in “give them a place on the other side of the planet, so they’re not my neighbor anymore” antisemitism. That, and the fire-and-brimstone Christian belief that the end times will be kicked off when all the Jews return to their homeland.
It always was a case of Not In My Backyard. So they (Britain, et al) picked somebody else’s backyard instead. They didn’t care about the Palestinians back then either.
