Ya, I had the same thought. Instead of hanging, this one goes into a rack of some sort for holding multiple pieces. I’m willing to bet this picture was taken next to, or at least very close to, a church. It’s probably used to hang vestments or robes.

Possibly. It does look similar. To me, it looks more for pushing, not hanging, based on how the wear looks to me. Can’t think of a good use, tho…
