Simply remove them from harming anyone else. You don’t have any jurisdiction for anything further but to keep yourself safe.
When they are behind bars: you’re safe. Nothing further should be required for you. It’s a safety concern and nothing further as far as you are concerned.
You only have to keep your own judgements for your own morals. Not theirs. Engaging or celebrating in torture is not looking after your own morals regardless of how you justify it.
