I’ve always thought that stalaCtites are on the Ceiling and stalaGmites are on the Ground, but I see lots of people spelling them both with G’s so maybe I’ve just gotten lucky never needing to know this far in life.
stalagtites hold “tight” to the ceiling is how i remember it lol
