I would apply do my absolute best to get the job as if I’m really excited about the opportunity, let them make plans and stuff then just not show up.

If they call, me screaming that I need to look after their kids so they can go on vacation, that’s when you start negotiating a price, since you have literally nothing to lose, even if they “fire” you that’s still a positive.

The only sort of people who would accept this deal are the ones you don’t want near your children.

Certainly people are chomping at the bit for such a position!
