    Either that or it will become a toxic cesspool that you can smell for kilometers.

    As someone who used to like the pool, I hope this happens and stays that way until we sort our shit out.

      afaik there was a plan created that wasn’t executed for some reason, so you’re probably right: when a government comes in that’s not gonna just rage over the fact that doing it right wasn’t their plan, it will get fixed by implementing a plan that was designed by engineers and professionals
