These guys are never into living in Russia or China and having them pay their living expenses while they’re working on all their magic stuff. Nothing like that. They always like to live in the nice stable places, and have them pay for it.

But, instead of in return trying to help fix the incredible number of very urgent problems in the stable places, they… well, you know.

I think that just happens sometimes. I’ve had people tell me images from my instance weren’t loading, and nothing really ever “went wrong.” I’ve seen it happen for me, too. My guess is that every so often an image just doesn’t load. Why, I don’t know, but presumably it is for similar reasons as to why I am every so often just randomly logged out until I reload the page, or why everything flashes Chinese for a second before going back over to English again.

Ah good, I was beginning to think it was just me, or just the instance I’m on.

One thing to note is that I know why the linked site doesn’t load (most .ru sites are blocked in Ukraine as they spread russian genocidal propaganda and misinformation), I am just surprised the cached Lemmy copy of the image doesn’t load.

It’s funny because revolutionary leaders did regularly denounce each other. You couldn’t get Lenin, Stalin, Pol Pot, or Mao in the same room and expect them to refer to any of the other people present as role models.
