I want to know more about the enviromental collapse and plagues, because that tracks so much with the entire world, and I want to know if people are so dumb, or if there may be some conspiracy behind it.

It’s not a conspiracy, look if you want to call yourself a prophet and you want people two thousand plus years still taking you’re prophecy serious, all you have to do is talk about things that happen and will likely continue to happen, war, famine, plagues, natural disasters, social upheaval, corrupt and violent authoritarian leaders, nations collapsing.

Preachers, religions they love apocalyptic prophecy, it really grabs desperate people attention and gives them an out ‘‘my life isn’t insane because of society, culture, or civil cannibalism, I shouldn’t fight to change things for myself and others, It’s just the end of the world and no one can do anything about it, so I’ll give my church all my money because none of this matters anymore and Jesus will appreciate my sacrifice’’

They’ve all been saying ‘‘this is it, we’re right at the end’’ since forever, but Christianity specifically has always been apocalyptic, we don’t have any writings from Christians until a good 50+ years after Jesus’ death, they didn’t bother, they were 100% convinced that was the end of the world and Jesus would return any day. Paul much later in time says paraphrasing ‘‘I don’t think you really need to worry about getting married and having kids’’ because he was 100% convinced that was the end of the world and Jesus was coming back any day.

Much of the thinking on it today in the US has pretty specific origins and traits, but it does vary from sect to sect, researching it is pretty laborious, but you can trace a lot of it to specific people in the Americas, all you have to do is look into Christian dominionism, and apocalyptic new age Christian writing.

To your overall question, there’s no detail in prophecy, that’s a key feature of prophecy, saying ‘‘Christ won’t come again until the sons of Levi offer sacrifices to the lord again’’ no further detail but for that to happen other things are required like the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem, and that requires many Jewish laws to be observed to dedicate the temple according to Jewish religious laws and customs. So there’s a guy breeding red haired cattle right now so that if ever the temple is rebuilt, they can dedicate the temple which requires the sacrifice of a flawless red haired bovine that was never yoked, so this is the kind of things you see when you have heard about these prophecies all for life. As for people who want to actually harm others and the environment to force Jesus to return, that’s mostly evident in apathy and a refusal to fix problems.
