Summary

Donald Trump signed an executive order rolling back transgender and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies, reversing key measures introduced by Joe Biden.

The new order declares the federal government will recognize only two genders and bans agencies from promoting gender transitions.

Federal documents, prisons, and agencies must comply.

Trump also targeted environmental justice grants and diversity training programs.

Civil rights groups condemned the move, pledging legal challenges.

    Okay, and?

The statement in the parent comment

According to Russians ideological purists, this outcome is better for my trans son than if Kamala Harris had won.

is false, because nobody said that. Simple as that. You can take issue with the anti-Democrat stance, but nobody tried to imply it’d result in a better environment for trans people.

They where declared an acceptable sacrifice for purposes of making a point about Palestine. IE: if you allow democrat policies on Palestine to continue then we are willing to let the minorities here in America burn.

Okay are you being willfully obtuse or do you have a habit of ranting about things nobody asked? You moved the goalposts from the statement of the parent comment to your own beef with Gaza non-voters, which I frankly don’t care about. Either engage with the original idea or go do something else, but this is just ridiculous.

Who do you think the ideological purists in the parent comment means? I’m fine with being told different but to me that says people who refused to vote to keep the Trump camp out based on that single issue regardless of any detrimental impacts to anyone or anything else .

edit: and to preempt some argument that they did not literally utter the words that ‘trans people will be better off under trump’ if that’s the argument you’re trying to push them have fun with it. Actions > Words
