I am not arguing it will be profitable. It almost certainly won’t be, but AI will still be here and very probably integrated deeply in all of our lives in ways all of us can’t comprehend today.
In my opinion there is no escape from it, so we need to either adapt or die while shouting at the cloud.
I just hope the trend develops that we can self-host models for faesible prices and avoid reliance on large corporations, as that is the actual problem, not the AI itself, which is only a tool which can be used correctly or incorrectly.
No need for insults.
I suppose only time will tell, let’s meet back here in a year and evaluate how the world has changed. I’ve set an alarm in my calender.
This is a mix of manual work in Krita AND ai using Codex. If the AI hadn’t had a tonne of manual context, which I spent about 40 minutes manually preparing, it would be slop, yes, I agree.
However, AI is a tool which is not going away. If you use it as such, it can be useful, but the quality of what it produces is proportional to what you feed it. Bullshit in -> Bullshit out, but a general “duhur ai bad”-knee jerk reaction is no longer valid in all cases (it was up to about last year though!)

Made with Krita, Codex with lots and lots of reference images, and with a lot of swearing.
Oh that makes sense. Thank you. I am happpy too that he accidentally mic’d himself up in the morning so we could hear him having his totally real reaction to the prank he didn’t know about.
Does anyone else find the 5 camera-angles detract from the realness of the video?
I mean, yeah, no TV is real, but this pretending that it is a real situation in this style of video irritates me in a way I cannot describe.
Am I being too picky? I don’t know.
I am guessing the width and height of the video file are quite large. If you plop it down to a size suitable for gif, say maybe 400px width, you’ll see a massive drop in filesize.
