We had millions of those types of cars 20 years ago, now they’re nonexistent.

1 person who buys a new car (especially anything large) is wasting far far more than I am with my 15 year old cars. I don’t believe in throwaway culture. Plus I hate new cars so there’s that.

I think a big problem is the info is out there, but they are awful at search. They still think Google is good. In today’s world you need 3 different search engines and also asking folks in the fediverse helps a lot if my issues.

Itd be fine if it was just useless slop that sat there. If it was all locally ran, open source, trained in public data only, I’d maybe be OK with it being used for research or data purposes only (nothing to do with art or surveillance) but we will never have that.
