I’m currently on a long trip, a lot of it is spur of the moment. It’s really nice to say “I’m on my way to <location>, what is it known for? What areas should I avoid? Where is a good place to stay that is in my budget?”

Yes, I could do all the research on my own, but it’s pretty handy having a travel agent at my fingertips. I’m not saying I would follow it to the end of the earth, but I find it pretty helpful.

Good thing my partner has an uncanny sense of direction. She says, “Which way should we go?”. And after I answer she smiles sweetly and goes the opposite direction.

Some apps track upvotes/downvotes on a user basis (see Voyager) so when you see their posts you can see if you’ve interacted with them.
