Are you saying that on a nursery tree, if the flare is buried it is already a lost cause? (As in, there’s no way to excavate it out and leave it exposed when transplanting into the soil that will actually work?)

I have to agree with you about the substance.

All three of those in the top-level comment are very much “look at the mysterious cabal that controls us using magic technology” vs “look at the obvious and well-documented cabal that controls us in the open” (using money, media and state power)
