Dude, I’m not going to answer you again. Your replies don’t make any sense. I have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about. What the hell does China have to do with anything I’ve said? I have spoken about the role of the other Muslim countries; China is not one of them.
If I missed what? a joking response to a forceful attack? Iran made it clear that it did not want to get involved and did the minimum necessary so that its ridicule was not absolute, spoiler, even so the ridicule has been absolute. Can you tell me how many Iranians died in direct Israeli attacks and how many Israelis died in direct Iranian attacks?
oh yes, he is sending the money to not really break relations, but they have literally bombed his country, they have virtually wiped out his main allies except the Yemenis and they have responded in a basically symbolic and timorous way. Its regional leadership has been completely dismantled
but what are you talking about? At what point have I said anything even half positive about China or Russia on this topic? History had no weight in the '70s or '80s when the Arab countries confronted Israel directly? I think you should learn to structure your arguments and read what other people say before trying to sell your ideas without any
I think that because in the face of a clear genocide of their “Arab brothers” they have done nothing, in fact, they continue to be aligned with the USA and Israel and the Abraham treaties continue to advance. An even greater shame than that of the West, because it is assumed that they were the allies and brothers of the Palestinians, a total betrayal
Yemen has at least tried to do something, within its size and possibilities of course, Iran has shown that all these decades of talk were just that, talk, a shame and blaming only Western countries (which I do not deny their guilt) is not going to change that betrayal.
I think the rest of the Arab countries are also aligned with China and Russia.
I’m not going to look for anything; you say it with such conviction that I simply believe you. I wasn’t sure either, as I already told you, and in any case, we’ll all know for sure after the vote.
Anyway, I imagined something like a Senate inquiry committee requesting information from the Department of Justice or something equivalent. I suppose they don’t need anyone for that; the DOJ would be obligated to respond to that request, right?
I’m not sure what I’m going to say, but I think you’re wrong. What they are going to do is not a law; Congress does more and has more authority than just legislate. If I’m not mistaken, the idea is to give a direct order to the Justice Department to release the files; they don’t need to go to the Senate or through Trump’s office. That’s why they’re so nervous in the government; otherwise, what would be the point of seeing Trump acting crazy about it?

In Spain it is normally used with elderly people (less and less, people get offended and think that “you call them old” or something like that when you use it) and in very formal situations, especially at work.

I’ve never put the USA on a pedestal, but I think you imagine Tsarist Russia as a place full of human rights. Those who stormed the Bastille in France risked more than any American protesting, I assure you. If all your rights are respected, do you need to protest in the first place?

I’m still holding out hope that someone in the military or the FBI will turn around and say “this shit is not acceptable” and arrest him or get him out of there without making more of a fuss than necessary. I know it’s unlikely, but I don’t lose hope.

I think the midterm elections will be the real turning point. If nothing gives him an excuse before then, and nothing serious comes out against him, still—when the elections come, he’ll pull that same crap again about how opposing his will is illegal and will declare martial law to get Congress out of his way. By then, it’ll be too late.

Armed repression works, to a certain extent. All revolutions sooner or later encounter the violence of the system, I’m talking about revolutions, not more or less peaceful protests like those of “no king.” Ask the Romanovs if that works forever

You’re right, I should have said undetectable to the flavor, but it was a joke and I didn’t give it much thought.

Unrelated. Does anyone have a list of poisons that are undetectable in an autopsy? It’s for a friend.

I don’t know, I’m not that familiar with the American system or society, but if they think behaving like Samuel L. Jackson in the Django Unchained movie will save them from losing all that, they’re delusional.
Maybe never having had a real dictatorship in their country has made them think they can still get rid of these people by the book, but that’s not going to happen. Bannon said it the other day: they know that if they lose power they’ll end up in jail. They won’t get out of there except by force.

As a European, the fact that you don’t have serious riots (at the level of supermarkets being robbed and federal buildings burned to the ground) is still surprising.
I think that capital flight and child prostitution are not exactly the same thing, to be honest.
