David Dempsey assaulted officers on Jan. 6 and stood in front of a gallows, where he called for politicians to be hanged. His is among the longest Capitol riot sentences yet.

Witnesses in court said that Dempsey, while being led out of court, appeared to flash an “okay” gesture with his fingers that has in recent years become a symbol of white supremacy and far-right causes.

Clearly should’ve been a life sentence. This piece of shit tried to violently overthrow the US government and overturn the results of a fair election. In doing so he violated the rights of the American people and he is clearly remorseless. He does not deserve to enjoy the luxury of participating in our society again when he’s 57. (Although this article doesn’t mention it, he’s 37)

TF. This scum should be rotting in some damp airless dark cell for at least 2x that term. Please tell me he won’t be eligible for parole, or have access to the internet while on the inside.

Well, federal time is 85% time, at least.

Didn’t know that. Glad to hear it. Let’s hope the Dorito gets some.

Now this, unlike the Truth Social story I was summoned to, deserves a Riker.
